  1. It's a great shame that HORNBY Spencer isn't being sold anymore! I have a friend in the UK and his friend called HORNBY to ask to bring it back but HORNBy said the models are going out of stock! I'm in the USA and really wanted a HORNBY Oliver,Duck,Spencer and Bill and Ben to see the difference between my Bachmann B&B and difference between my Spencer and Spencer. :( To me it really kinda sucks.

  3. Hornby Spencer is a must have and hard to find model. I manage to find one at a hobby shop in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia and I have to say, Hornby is more perfectly detailed and shows a real A4 design. Don't get me wrong, Bachmann Spencer looks good too, but I prefer Hornby over Bachmann, though I like to collect them (Bachmann) because of there detailed face (eg- Toby, Salty etc.)

All I have to say is now, great review Simon ;)

  4. bachman spencer looks alot from the show but seeing him on real life looks a mest up A4 locomotive with a long boiler. hornby spencer looks like a real a4 locomotive but discontuned if hornby just keeped on making the model then it wil kick on the bachmann
